Quick and easy

At Germanwings you can check in online a day before departure from work, from home or out and about. You can also print your own boarding card.

All you need is a PC with Internet connection and your 6-figure booking code.

Airports

Online check-in is only possible at the following airports: Berlin (SXF), Budapest (BUD), Dortmund (DTM), Dresden (DRS), Hamburg (HAM), Cologne/Bonn (CGN), Leipzig (LEJ), Munich (MUC), Stuttgart (STR), Rostock (RLG), Zurich (ZRH) and Zweibrücken (ZQW).

Check-in time

You can check in online between 24 and 3 hours before departure.

Spelling

When checking in online please use the same spelling for your given and surname as on the reservation confirmation.

Passengers

You can only check in one person per leg during each online check-in procedure. If you wish to check in more passengers and/or for more legs, please repeat the process. 


Fast boarding thanks to Web Check-In

If you check in online, not only can you print out your boarding card the day before departure, you can also reserve a specific seat.
 
If you only have hand luggage, simply make your way to the gate. If you have luggage to check in or special baggage, please go to the check-in desk. At Cologne/Bonn Airport you can also use the baggage drop-off counter, which we’ve set up to deal exclusively with handing in luggage.
